🚓 Leicester City Police – Weekly Roundup 🚓 |
||
🚓 Weekly Round-Up from the City Centre TeamIt's been another busy week for the team, with officers tackling crime, safeguarding vulnerable people, and supporting the community. Here's a snapshot of what we've been up to: 📋 PC Elliot has been preparing a warrant application for an address on our beat as part of ongoing work targeting criminality in the area. ✈️ PC Suhaib assisted our colleagues in the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) by interviewing a suspect in connection with a criminal damage investigation. Proof that the long arm of the law stretches all the way across the Irish Sea! 💪⚖️ 🧠 PC Georgie, one of our Mental Health Triage Officers, has continued supporting the Mental Health Response Car. Working alongside a mental health nurse, she attends incidents where both police and mental health services are required, helping ensure people receive the right support at the right time. 🤝🚑 👮♀️ PC Katie and Sgt Zane have been conducting patrols in our hotspot areas. Following reports of suspected drug dealing, a new hotspot location has been identified around Great Central Street, where officers will be carrying out additional high-visibility patrols. 🚶♂️🚓 ⚖️ PC Dean attended a meeting this week to progress a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). This has been a significant piece of work that he has been developing over many months, and we're hopeful the courts will grant the application given the extensive evidence and dedication involved. 📑✅ 🚲 PCSO Donna was out on patrol when she spotted a young girl cycling through the city centre with her mum. Noticing the bike didn't have any lights fitted, Donna was able to provide a set there and then, helping to keep the young rider visible and safe as the darker evenings draw in. 🌙💡 | ||
